LTris is hiring a Junior Solar Design Engineer to create code-compliant solar designs for US residential solar.
This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates who want to start a career in renewable energy and gain hands-on experience in solar design engineering.
What You’ll Do:
Site-Specific Layouts: Creating custom solar PV layouts for residential projects.
Full Permit Package Assembly: Draft comprehensive, permit-ready plan sets.
Code Application: Apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local codes.
Iterative Design & Redlines: Manage the “Correction & Redline” process.

What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. (Fresh grads welcome!)
0–2 years of experience in solar design or technical CAD drafting.
(Recent graduates with strong CAD portfolios or solar internships are encouraged
to apply)
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Experience with solar-specific software (e.g., Helioscope, Aurora) or Salesforce is a plus.
Comfortable working remotely
Foundational understanding of residential solar design principles and
electrical theory
Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, site surveys, and
construction drawings
Demonstrated ability to be effective and productive in a fully remote work environment, including strong self-management and time-management skills.
